It might take some time before the emulator can run at 60 FPS reliably, but for the time being, it would be rather satisfying to see a future update that stabilizes the framerate at 30 FPS.

Why would we say that? What about the fact that the emulator plays flawlessly on 4k resolution? This means that the CEMU emulator makes The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild look a whole lot better than it does on the Nintendo Switch and WiiU versions. The Wii U emulator CEMU is already running The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at full 4K 30fps resolution, dramatically beyond the capabilities of Nintendos own latest generation platform(s) Bevor Zelda: Breath of the Wild aber mithilfe des CemU-Emulators so flüssig auf dem PC wiedergegeben werden kann, wie es im Video zu sehen ist. Just as good we say, though this is an understatement. So to put it this way, the CEMU emulator is running the game just as good as the original versions do at the moment.

If we pay close attention to the videos, we will notice some framerate drops down to 20 FPS in numerous scenarios, but this is not necessarily bad news for the emulator, as the very same thing would happen if The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was played either on Nintendo Switch or WiiU. That’s all.CEMU, the team that created the incredible WiiU emulator, has just released the latest version of the emulator and as we can see in the videos uploaded by YouTubers ‘YamGaming’ and ‘Jolu42’, the framerate of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is pretty much locked at 30 FPS. My previous comment was just in relation to you saying that people could just buy the game for the money they donated for the emulation project, which isn’t necessarily true.

As usual, the Apple II, FM Towns and PC-98 software lists have been updated with the latest dumps. Yes, it looks stunning and far beyond anything the Switch hardware could ever achieve. Konami Viper emulation now has sound support thanks to Windy Fairy, and a big batch of unlicensed multi-game cartridges for NES/Famicom are now playable.

If you want to play a game, pay for it like everyone else, and don’t be a dick by finding alternate and unfair ways to get your hands on it.īut considering emulators aren’t illegal per se, Nintendo probably won’t be able to do much about it, unfortunately.īut yea, everyone’s free to do what they want I suppose, so who am I to judge, haha. The emulator is free for download and can be presented and set up with no issue. The emulator is habitually refreshed, and now you can download CEMU 1.18.2 for PC, which is the most recent form accessible for everybody. But making/supporting an emulation of a new game, let alone one that came out less than a month ago, is kind of ridiculous to me, and I think it’s disrespectful towards all the people that worked on it, and also those who actually bought the game with their hard-earned money. I am not against emulators by any means, because, as you’ve said, they’re a great way of preserving old games that are not being produced anymore. I also think that this shouldn’t be happening, and that I don’t like the fact that people are funding this.
